Melancholic, alternative, psychedelic rock 4 piece from Northwest England
Crystal Ships are made up from the former members of critically acclaimed modern alarms.
Having toured up and down the country for many years honing their craft a decision was made to shed old skin resulting in a move into a new direction one more honestly befitting their characters, views on life and tastes in music, one that the later modern alarms offerings had already hinted at.. a darker more groove driven sound. Flowing rhythms and melodies exploring unexpected directions. Keeping the cynical, observant and mortally aware lyrics the harmonies have been greater utilized and bolster a poignant, captivating, sometimes uncomfortable but always impressive set of songs.
This is a very exciting time for Crystal Ships. For anyone that had the pleasure of seeing these boys under there former guise knows there has long been a sense of something very special has brewing away with this band. Seemingly now they have mastered the recipe and are in the bottling process...DRINK UP when it comes to a bar near you!
